About Us
Annunciation Catholic School was established in 1954. We are an accredited PK3 - 8th grade school located
in Havelock, North Carolina, near the Marine Corps Air Station at Cherry Point in the heart of the Crystal
Coast.
Annunciation Catholic School was established in 1954 in response to Annunciation Catholic Parish’s need
for education based on unchanging values. As Christians and Catholics, ACS’s educational philosophy was
established many years ago and remains the same today: Development of the Whole Child. Spiritual and
moral values are stressed side-by-side with intellectual and technological matters.
From its humble beginnings, Annunciation Catholic School has made Religious education an integral part of
the whole child, continually working to develop a sense of personal responsibility. Students are called to
awareness of their unique God-given talents and challenged to achieve in an academically rigorous
curriculum. ACS has always promoted understanding and cooperation between military dependents and
those who are not so that each will learn to understand and respect a life different from his/her own.
We are a member of the Havelock Chamber of Commerce and participate in programs that seek to fulfill the
mission of the Chamber.
ACS is proud to offer a chapter of the National --Junior Honor Society, Interact/Campus Ministry, a strong
sports program, a rigorous academic curriculum with high expectations, and a strong Fine Arts program.
An Annunciation Student is Hard Working, Prayerful, Loving, and Respectful
