Registration Re-registration for students in attendance at Annunciation School is taken in early Spring. New registrations are also taken at that time. There is a fee for re-registrations and new registrations. Order of priority is on a space available basis: - Those who already have children in school with one coming into school age. (Catholic, then those of other faiths).
- Parishioners on a waiting list.
- Non-Parishioners (Catholic and all others) on a waiting list.
Other registrations with extenuating circumstances will be accepted at the discretion of the Pastor/Principal. Records needed for registration are: - Birth Certificate
- Baptismal Record
- Immunization Record
North Carolina Public Law requires each child to have the following minimum immunizations: - 4 doses of DPT--3 doses by age 1, a booster after the 4th birthday;
- 4 doses of oral Polio Vaccine--3 doses by age 2, a booster after the 4th birthday;
- 2 MMR--1 on/after the 1st birthday, 2nd dose before entering school (K-1) for the first time or after 7/1/94.
* Students who are 12 years old on or after August 1, 2008 are required to have a Tdap. HIB and Hepatitis B vaccinations are also required. Admissions Policy In order for a child to be admitted to Annunciation School, a child must be 4 years old by August 31st to enter Preschool, 5 years old by August 31st to enter Kindergarten, and 6 years old by August 31st to enter First Grade.
