Planning and Development

Annunciation Catholic School is dedicated to continuous improvement and operational vitality. While continuous improvement applies to our educational processes and goals, our standards for operational vitality ensure
successful “operation” of the school—how it works and how it is supported—in four key areas: finances, human resources/personnel, facilities, and institutional advancement (http://www.catholicschoolstandards.org/files/Catholic_School_Standards_03-12.pdf).

As a SACS/Advanc-ED accreditted instituion, Anunciation Catholic school:

  • "Maintains and communicates a purpose and direction that commits to high expectations for learning as well as shared values and beliefs about teaching and learning
  • Operates under governance and leadership that promotes and supports student performance and school effectiveness
  • Curriculum, instructional design, and assessment practices guide and ensure teacher effectiveness and student learning
  • Has resources and provides services that support its purpose and direction to ensure success for all students
  • Implements a comprehensive assessment system that generates a range of data about student learning and school effectiveness and uses the results to guide continuous improvement" (http://www.advanc-ed.org/services/advanced-standards-quality)
